Ernest Cadegan is an artist living in rural Nova Scotia. With camera close at hand on his daily outings, his disciplined eye looks into the landscape for the things most people don't notice - and he finds them - photographing isolated moments in time and space, and then making them into masterful images in his studio.  Cadegan's painterly approach reduces what he find in nature to succinct, zen-like simplicity, sometimes bordering on the abstract.
